The Planning Commission (PC) consists of the Mayor, one member of Council, and three residents of the Village appointed by the Mayor. The Commission reviews plans for buildings and developments to be erected on ground acquired within the limits of the Village, and of the size, height, style, and general appearance of such buildings.
The Planning Commission meets the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall. Paperwork is due 14 days prior to each meeting.

The purposes of the Architectural Review Board (ARB) is to protect and preserve the value, appearance and use of property by maintaining the high character of the community. The Board regulates in accordance with accepted and recognized architectural principles, as well as other provisions of the Zoning Code and ordinances of the Village.
The Architectural Review Board meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at Village Hall. Paperwork is due 8 days prior to each meeting.

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) consists of five residents of the Village appointed by the Mayor. The Board adopts rules for its own government and hears appeals on other matters authorized by the provisions of the Zoning Code.
The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.

The Parks Committee, which consists of six residents and one member of Council, makes recommendations to Mayor and Council regarding the usage of park property as well as park rules and regulations. The Parks Committee plans and organizes improvements, alterations and activities for the park property and makes recommendations of these recommendations to Mayor and Council for approval.
